The island of Phu Quoc is served by Vietnam Airlines with several flights daily direct from Ho Chi Minh City. A more adventurous route is possible by traveling south by bus or car from Ho Chi Minh City to Rach Gia. From there you can take a boat to the island. This route is more fun but be prepared for a long, scenic journey. There are also connecting flights in Rach Gia to Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh City.
La Veranda is conveniently located just outside the main town of Duong Dong, a short car ride from the airport. If you have made a booking with us, you will be greeted at the airport by one of our staff. If not, a taxi can transfer you to La Veranda.

“The design of this resort, amongst a growing resort industry across S E Asia, is understanding. The rooms and units maintain privacy within a beautifully designed setting. The pool and beach facilities are excellent. The Activities Department is oganised most efficiently and the staff showed a tremendous rapport with guest of different nationalities. The cuisine, including breakfast is excellent and caters for a wide range of palates. The rooms are very well serviced, and the staff always anticipated our needs before they were asked. As a resort it is a good place to relax for a few days from airports and visiting special sites. The building up of a library, in French and English would be a positive step, in filling in rainy days of which there are more than a few in the wet season. But whatever the weather the staff keep smiling”.
